On April 12th, 2024, an engaging workshop titled "Integrating Cutting-Edge Tools to Improve Speaking Skills" was held, bringing together 62 participants including professors and students from 6 universities across the region. The institutions represented were Бердянський державний педагогічний університет, Ніжинський державний університет імені Миколи Гоголя, Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University, Вінницький державний педагогічний університет імені Михайла Коцюбинського, and the municipal establishment "Kharkiv Humanitarian-Pedagogical Academy" of the Kharkiv regional council, and Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University.

The workshop, led by Iryna Shkola, PhD and Associate Professor at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, introduced cutting-edge online tools and techniques to enhance speaking skills in language learning. Participants explored innovative platforms like collaborative boards, vocabulary games, digital storytelling, and AI art generators.

Through hands-on activities and insightful discussions, attendees gained valuable insights into integrating these modern resources into their teaching practices. The event fostered a collaborative environment where educators and students could share their experiences and learn from one another.

Overall, the workshop provided a valuable opportunity to explore the latest advancements in educational technology and their potential applications in developing effective speaking skills among language learners.

This workshop was conducted as part of the much-anticipated COUL project, launched on March 22, 2024, and implemented within the framework of a bilateral cooperation agreement between Berdyansk State Pedagogical University and Nizhyn Mykola Gogol State University.
